We would like to introduce a startup acceleration program & competition hosted by UNDP, WFUNA, UNESCAP, and Ulsan Metropolitan Government that we believe would be a great opportunity for your students, and request that the details be shared with the student body and startups at your institution.
Name of the Competition: Citypreneurs Ulsan 2023
Application Deadline: March 28, 2023
Acceleration Program: early April - early June (Online)
Demo Day + Awards Ceremony: early June (TBC)
Eligibility: Any Impact start-ups in Asia-Pacific region which can contribute to achieving SDGs or to tackling urban issues in Ulsan
Benefits:
All Selected Teams:
A. Receive capacity building support (mentoring, workshops and more) from industry experts
B. Be eligible for joint project opportunities with big corporations
C. Travel subsidy for Demo Day (Airline tickets will be provided for teams coming from outside of ROK)
Winning Teams:
A. Be eligible for investment reviews from investors in Korea and Asia Pacific
B. Be eligible for grants from the co-hosting organizations including Youth Co:Lab (co-led by UNDP and Citi Foundation), and Ulsan city
C. Receive support to scale up business to overseas markets via Youth Co:Lab's Asia-Pacific impact network
D. Receive support to promote the company via international impact business network of Youth Co:Lab and Citypreneurs
E. Be eligible for DCAMP's support on office space (in Korea) and investment review
