The Office of Faculty Regent Carl Ramota called for his first systemwide faculty consultative meeting tagged “Tipunan: Konsultatibong Pagpupulong para sa Demokratikong Pamamahala sa Pamantasan” on February 2, 2023 at the UP Manila Board Room. 

 

UPMASA auditorium to help advance Philippine medicine

The University of the Philippines Alumni Society in America (UPMASA) held a celebratory program to commemorate the opening of the UPMASA Auditorium on the 4th floor of the Henry Sy, Sr. Building in UP Manila on Dec. 19, 2022. This was held as part of the webinar with the theme “Expanding the Edge of Philippine Medicine.”

Tokyo Medical and Dental Univ official visits UPM for collaboration strengthening

Dr. Keiko Nakamura, professor and head of the Global Health Entrepreneurship of the Tokyo Medical and Dental University (TMDU) Japan visited UP Manila on January 17, 2023 to discuss ways to enhance the two universities’ existing agreement and how else to strengthen this partnership.

 

College of Holy Spirit Manila Class ‘73 turns over donation to PGH Silahis ng Kalusugan School for the Chronically-Ill

The UP-PGH Department of Pediatrics and the UP-PGH Silahis ng Kalusugan School for the Chronically-Ill (SNKCI) received from the College of Holy Spirit Manila (CHSM) High School Class of 1973 its donation of cash and books under its Agapay sa Kalusugan at Pag-aaral (AKAP) legacy project.
